The Flempton Club Championships were held over the weekend 14th & 14th July 2024, the chamionship comprise the Vincent Goblet & Brigs Trophy.
This year both competitions were played over 36 holes one being Best Gross & Best Nett scores.
We had 45 players on the Saturday & 38 qualified for the second round on the Sunday played in the gorgeous sunshine (a real change).
The course was set up immaculately by the staff, ensuring different pins on each day. A massive thanks to greenkeepers for presenting the course in superb a standard.
Winner The Brigs Cup -Paul Brierley Score 147 Runner Up Robbie Beecroft 150
Winner Vincent Goblet - Paul Brierley Score 129 Runner Up Barry Stapleton 138.
A huge congratulation to Paul who shot a gross 70 on Saturday and followed it up with a 77 on Sunday to win by three shots from Robbie.
It was great to players and members hanging around to support and congratulate our Champion golfer of the year.
